There are a lot of games for the children to explore. There are math and English games. There are also some games that allows the children to do some colouring or even try their music skills. for math, there are many different concepts for the children to learn, such as, addition, subtraction, multiplication and divison. There is also the game “what’s the point” which teaches children how to read a graph. There are three levels of difficulties which is given for the children to choose from.

The yahoo games are specially designed for children who are as young as preschool. They have games ranging from simple to complex. It is a very colourfu website which will attract the children's attention and make them want to play the game more. For example, flower frenzy is a game which is colourful as well as educational. It not only teaches children patterning, differentiation and lots more. There are also other games like action games, and problem solving games which allows children to learn as they play.

As for our group, we used the two links which are http://www.veoh.com/ and http://www.bbc.co.uk/ due to the reason that we found out that there are actually alot of educational programmes which can be used to educate pre schoolers.

Firstly, we have choosen the VEOH which is a video instructional tool because it has many videos. It allows teachers to upload videos or even use videos inside the web uploaded by others to carry out lessons. Children need visual and auditory aids to help them to understand better the concept that teacher is going to teach. It also can be used to reinforce children's learning in relation to what the teacher had been teaching.

For example, the teacher can let the children listen to stories instead of telling. Like in this case, "godilock and the three bears" story. This story repeats some words which are suitable for children of smaller age group.

Next, the BBC website provides educational support for children. It contains rhymes which allows children to listen and learn at the same time. It acts as a learning tool for children as the cartoon characters inside the web will read out the rhymes loud and clear.
Not only that, the teacher is giving the children the opportunity to explore themselves and promotes independent learning as a result.

Furthermore they have many educational games for example under teletubies, there is a game named "Find the favourite things" which improves their eye hand coordination skills as well as their listening skills as they are required to listen to the instructions given.

The differences between the two web tools http://www.veoh.com/ and http://www.bbc.co.uk/ are that the first link allows the teacher to search for various kinds of videos for educating the children and also allows the teacher to upload all kinds of videos to the website. The latter link is more specific in catering to the needs of the young children. It has got games, nursery rhythms, and play activities which the teacher can print them out for the children to work on. As a result, our group feel that the latter link is better for both the teachers and the children.
